Abstract

The aim of writing this article is to explore the use of the media "Ternak Ragam" as an effort to build the value of tolerance in religious moderation at RA Istiqlal. Early childhood is an important period in forming a child's character, including the value of tolerance. Ragam Animal Media is designed not only to develop children's language, social emotional and fine motor skills, but also to introduce the concepts of diversity and tolerance through games in stories that involve cooperation and social interaction. The participants in this writing are the children of RA Istiqlal and the teachers involved in the learning process. The results achieved in this paper show that the use of Ragam Livestock media significantly increases children's understanding of the importance of peaceful coexistence with friends who have different religious backgrounds. Apart from that, this game also encourages children to appreciate differences more and develop mutual respect. Thus, Ragam Livestock media can be used as an effective method in character education, especially in building religious tolerance from an early age
